Genesis collection in-game advantages
Holding NFT from the genesis collection (STAFF-1b295e) grants in-game advantages in play and earn mode (by default). The NFT bonuses can be activated in friendly games at the discretion of the host of each game, but are disabled by default.
Extra energy during your turn
The first in game advantage implemented is chance that your staff generates extra energy during your turn.
How it works?
For each staff you hold you have a chance to have either 1 or two extra energies if you choose the same staff type in the game. The more NFT copies of the staff you hold, the more chance you have to get extra energies when you pick that staff in the game.
Chances are cumulative, up to a maximum of 100%. In the event that you have more than a 100% chance of obtaining at least one additional energy, points above 100% are discarded first on your probability of obtaining +1 energy, and not on your probability of obtaining +2 energies, unless you have more than a 100% chance of obtaining +2 energies.
For instance, if you have the common, uncommon, rare and legendary cursed staff NFT the probability you get +2 energies if you pick the cursed staff in the game is 35.24% and the probability that you get +1 energy is 11.19%.
If you have 5 common and 2 uncommon yellow staff NFT, the probability you get +1 energies if you pick the yellow staff in the game is 18.33% but you will never get +2 energies.
